Italian A List Apart
In 2010, I founded Italian A List Apart with my co-founder and good friend Carlo Brigatti.
I wanted the Italian Web Dev community to have access in Italian to the important ideas and web design techniques published by the world-famous magazine “A List Apart”.
A List Apart has been the main reference for web design and development since the early 2000s.
So far, it’s the only international branch of A List Apart.
Roles: Founder, Editor, Product Manager - ALA Editorial Team Member
I founded Italian A List Apart in 2010. I successfully negotiated its inception with the team of the famous web design website “A List Apart”.
I managed this project and its team for more than 10 years and I am now part of the A List Apart editorial team.
It’s still the only international branch of “A List Apart”.

Valeria Brigatti has done more than almost anyone to bring wisdom and light to the Italian web design and development scene. As the publisher of Italian A List Apart, she works tirelessly to find and share the most important ideas in the field of web design. A passionate advocate of web community, and of universal design principals that ensure that anyone can use the web, regardless of ability or device, Valeria is as talented as she is hard-working and multi-talented. With a part-time partner and a shoestring budget, she edits and produces an important bi-monthly magazine, handling everything from translation to production, from acquisition to marketing. I am proud to work with her.
